Great work continuing across the AHSC and partners

The Oxford AHSC has submitted its Annual Report to the Department of Health.  (all AHSCs are obliged to submit annual reports) This covers the period 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018 and shows an impressive amount of work across our key activity themes.  Good progress has been made in developing partnerships with the life science sector and in looking forward to e-health and digital solutions to support improved patient care.  Oxford Brookes is leading work on the OX4 project which provides a  real world research opportunity and environment for the study of a population. Work in the immunity theme has been particularly strong with the establishment of the Immunity Network, and in the Mental Health, building on the work of the newly establish Oxford Health BRC.

The Board received this report at its recent meeting held on 8 June and welcomed the strengths shown across the AHSC.
